The Cupertino Union School District is made up of 20 elementary schools and 5 middle schools. It serves over 17,500 students in a richly diverse community representing 46 different languages in a 26-square mile area that includes the city of Cupertino and portions of San Jose, Sunnyvale, Saratoga, Santa Clara, and Los Altos.

CUSD Strategic Plan 2008-2011 - 4/7/2008 The Cupertino Union School District is in the process of developing the 2008-2011 Strategic Plan. This document identifies the main areas that the district will be focusing on for the next three school years. The Board of Education would like to solicit feedback from the community regarding the plan. Interested community members are invited to provide their input during two public hearings to be held on April 22, 2008 and May 13, 2008. Both of these hearings will be part of the regularly scheduled Board of Education meetings and will start at 6:30 p.m. The Board of Education meeting on May 13 will be held at Collins Elementary School, located at 10300 N. Blaney Avenue in Cupertino.
