It is the philosophy of the Cupertino Union School District to provide an intellectually challenging, developmentally appropriate, standards-based instructional program for each child. The goals of Gifted and Talented Education in Cupertino Union School District can be defined as follows:
  • To provide differentiated opportunities for learning commensurate with abilities and talents of individuals
  • To provide an environment that will cultivate and encourage intellectual and creative abilities
  • To cultivate positive attitudes, sensitivity, and responsibility to others
  • To help develop a commitment to constructive ethical standards
